We want to pioneer a future that is rich in spirit and full of hope. Our purpose incorporates this aspiration.

A customer-centric approach and an enterprising nature are where the roots of the Canon Marketing Japan Group
lie. We have developed new businesses by hearing voices from the market based on our customer-centric approach
and by demonstrating our enterprising nature to respond to customer needs. As our operations have expanded, we
have welcomed various companies into the Group, and our organization has transformed in speedy and flexible
ways. Through these efforts we have built a highly resilient corporate structure that is less susceptible to changes in
the outside environment.

We will further accelerate the creation of high value-added businesses that solve increasingly complex and serious
social issues to help realize a sustainable society.
Therefore, we need to extend the scope of social issues we can solve and continue to grow together with customers
and other stakeholders, and to further refine ourselves while continuing to take on challenges. The Canon Marketing
Japan Group came to the realize it was necessary to explicitly state the significance of its unique presence in society
based on Kyosei, the Canon Group's corporate philosophy, and formulated the purpose of the Canon Marketing
Japan Group to do so.

Heading toward this purpose, we will make the Canon Marketing Japan Group an entity that is continually expected
by our stakeholders.

The symbol is designed to visually represent our purpose in a way that is easy to understand.
It presents the image of various “hopes, ideas” , and “technologies” represented as circles each of different colors and sizes, connected and linked in a chain that extends infinitely.
The warm-colored circles on the left side represent “hopes and ideas” , while the cool-colored ones on the right
symbolize “technologies” . They are connected by a blue circle in the middle that has elements of both.
